The Digital Business Fundamentals course helps to equip South Africa's organisations for relevance in an environment that is increasingly disrupted by technological change. These competencies also help equip our organisations to compete internationally with increasingly digitalised competitors and industries that are increasingly dominated by technology-focused or enabled firms.
Course Description
This short course aims to provide competencies to participants in the areas of digital technology as it relates to digital business, strategic management in the digital era, and digital transformation and change management.
At the end of this short course, participants should be able to:

- Justify why digital transformation is an imperative at the level of organisations, society, and individuals.
- Plan for an effective digital disruption.
- Explain how digital disruption occurs, and apply this to effective planning for digital disruptions.
